Used for obtaining bright deposits of zinc on works.
Acid zinc with cobalt has higher corrosion resistivity than simple Acid-Zinc plating.
Advantages :
may provide a logical substitute for Cadmium or as an engineering enhancement over current zinc plated components or fasteners.
Zinc Cobalt provides excellent corrosion resistance.
The process can be used for either rack or barrel applications.
Zinc Cobalt offers exceptional brightness and leveling ability.
Chromate conversion coating ranging from iridescent to black can be applied easily to enhance appearance and corrosion resistance.
Another advantageous engineering characteristic of the alloy is its ductility, which provides improvement over conventional Zinc. Parts may be formed after plating wif minimal degradation to corrosion protection coz of its ductility.
